During my tenure as Head of UX and principal UX strategy for International Markets at Walmart Labs, it was an incredible ride of innovation and impact. I spearheaded initiatives that facilitated seamless online and in-person shopping experiences for millions worldwide. Emphasizing accessibility, diversity, and industry best practices, I led my designers in pushing boundaries and delivering user-centric solutions. Whether leading scrappy teams of three or orchestrating powerhouse teams of over 60 individuals across diverse locales, time zones, and design styles, our focus remained unwavering: to elevate the shopping experience for all customers, ensuring inclusivity and excellence at every turn.
In this role, I introduced pioneering Agile practices customized specifically for our cross-functional team, revolutionizing our approach to design collaboration and project execution. This bespoke Agile methodology not only enhanced our team's efficiency and cohesion but also served as a blueprint for other Agile-driven 4-in-a-box Walmart teams, seamlessly integrating Product Designers, Engineering, Product, and Project Management for optimal outcomes.

- Hands-on managed a team of 18 designers & researchers in 4 different timezones;
- Headed Walmart Labs' outsourced Data + Analysis vendors (consisting of 12 data analysts, researchers & local managers).
- Led design operations at scale & Developed.
- Launched Walmart’s Omni Design Strategy for our International E-commerce sectors (CA, MEX, IDC - overseeing a team of 60+ Product Designers, UX Researchers and UX Architects).
- Established Walmart Canada's streamlined Agile process for designers, which later expanded to Walmart Mexico and ASDA - Walmart UK; The process brought together sr. engineers, UX captains, and PO partners to maximum velocity (^180%);
- Crafted Walmart Labs' Design-led Agile methodology, currently implemented in multiple markets;
- Functioned as the hands-on UX Head of Walmart International's Best-In-Class eComm project, leading 2 UX Researchers & 2 UXDs to expedited completion.
- Worked on OMS, CMS, Omni-experience for multiple locations, and crafted the Internationalization foundationg for Ad Monetization in multiple locales, while infusing accessibility practices to each step of the way.
